Charlie Lovick is the man behind the legacy project; the High Country Hall of Fame.
Born and bred 5th generation cattleman, Charlie has grazed cattle and run horse trail rides through the mountains, showcasing and sharing the ways of the bush with thousands of visitors over the years. He feels it is his responsibility to protect and conserve what he was given by his and other legendary local families, he won’t stop until The High Country Hall of Fame is a reality.
He wants generations to come to be able to experience how he, and many others were brought up in the mountains.
As seen in Weekly Times - Herald Sun, The Age, The Australian, ABC, Channel Seven, Channel Nine, Channel Ten and more.

A Legacy Project with No Equal in Victoria
The High Country Hall of Fame brings mountain traditions to life as an experiential, on-the-ground gathering place. Blending authentic heritage displays with active, living history, the precinct centres on a monumental three-storey timber hall, traditional huts, and The Man from Snowy River film settings. Visitors don’t just view the past from a distance; they experience the grit, working horsemanship, and oral stories of local mountain cattlemen families first-hand.
